The BIFP is sponsored by a NSF - ATE DUE Award #1304010. It is a four week observational fellowship program where selected instructors will reside in Winston – Salem, North Carolina for the month of June 2017. During their stay, they will visit NC Biosciences industrial facilities, community colleges and university labs and research parks. Working in pairs, up to twelve awardees will write about their experiences and produce contextualized modules as grant products. The BIFP is open to interested instructors in good standing with their employers currently teaching at the high school, community college or university level. Travel expenses are paid and a competitive stipend is available for those who qualify. For further information please contact Russ Read, rread@forsythtech.edu or Allison Nestor, anestor@forsythtech.edu at the National Center for the Biotechnology Workforce. Applications will be accepted on a first come first serve basis for those who meet the requirements. The 2017 Bioscience Industrial Fellowship Project Brochure and Press Release
